This year’s Spring Concert artist will bring on T(he) PAIN! T-PAIN IS COMING TO GVSU! Buy your tickets and learn some facts about the Florida native before the Spring Concert on April 1.

1. T-Paying Homage

Faheem Rashad Najm (T-Pain’s real name) was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. "T-Pain" is short for "Tallahassee Pain", representing the hardships he experienced growing up and the challenges he faced while trying to leave home and make it as an artist.

2. T-Performer

Dressed as a fuzzy blue monster, T-Pain competed on Fox's "The Masked Singer". Singing ballads, pop tunes, and more, T-Pain exposed his voice without autotune, shocking nationwide audiences. He won the competition and the hearts of many viewers.

3. T-Planets

Libras unite! T-Pain was born on September 30, making him a libra. Libras value balance, just like T-Pain balances his natural voice and famous autotuned voice in his new album that will be released on March 17, “On Top of The Covers.”

4. T-Popularized Autotune

Gen Z owes the soundtrack of our childhood to T-Pain, and many say that he played a large part in popularizing autotune.

5. T-Podcaster
