The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has forwarded information from Kentucky health officials to Universities in our area for awareness regarding a potential measles exposure during a large event held on the campus of Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky during early to mid-February which resulted in a measles outbreak.

The GV community can help prevent illness by washing your hands often, coughing/sneezing into your arm, staying home when you feel sick, and getting your MMR Vaccination. Contact the Campus Health Center  or Family Health Center to get vaccinated.
