Surprise! Grand Valley’s first ever fall concert will be headlined by lovelytheband! To be prepared for this exciting night, you’ll need to get familiar with the band. 

Meet Mitchy Collins, Jordan Greenwald, and Sam Price, the members of our fall concert headliner! The band formed in 2016, based in Los Angeles, California. This indie pop band released their debut single “Broken” in 2017, which stayed on the Billboard top 100 for seven weeks. They’ve also traveled with Vance Joy, 5 Seconds of Summer, LANY, and AWOLNATION. Here’s a couple of lovely facts about our featured artist.

1. They love Chinese food

Did you know that the band got together after meeting in a club in LA, then getting Chinese food? What a delicious way to bond! Mitchy told Billboard, “Everything was better after the Chinese food.” Find out more in this interview. 

2. They write music about mental health

All three members of the band openly talk about anxiety, depression, and more in interviews and especially in their music. Their song “Broken”  helped the band open up about  mental health and made so many fans feel heard. 

3. They have a new song

Lovelytheband is constantly dropping bops! This past June, they released a new single called “sail away”. Be sure to give this jam a listen before their Grand Rapids debut so that you can sing it at the top of your lungs. 

4. They bring the energy to concerts
