Kirkhof Under the Sea Welcome Party

Ready to flap those fins? At 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, there will be a welcome party after you check in. Head to the Kirkhof lobby for carnival games, a caricature artist, yard games, and more! 

Comedy Magician, Trent James

Prepare to be dazzled and delighted! At 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, Trent James will perform a comedy magic show in the Cook DeWitt Center. Mark your calendar to make sure you don’t miss this event – James is “shrimply” the best!

Sibs & Kids Improv Show with Subject to Change

Be as happy as a clam while you have a laugh at an improv show! Grand Valley’s improv comedy team, Subject to Change, will be performing a family-friendly show in the Pere Marquette Room (Kirkhof 2204) at 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23. 

Basketball Games

There will be two “jaw-some” back-to-back basketball games on Saturday, Feb. 24! At 1 p.m. in the Fieldhouse Arena GVSU women’s basketball team will go against Lake Superior State. Then, at 3 p.m, the men’s basketball team will face off against Lake Superior State. Admission to both games are free of cost with the Sibs & Kids wristband. 

Under the Sea Party

Want one last seaweed spectacular? There’s a party on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. in the Kirkhof Grand River Room. Enjoy some games and inflatables to end the weekend on a high!

World of Winter Festival 

If you aren’t ready to “wave” the weekend goodbye, the World of Winter Festival will be taking place in downtown Grand Rapids through March 10. Come explore the events and all of the art on display!
