By Joi Mays

Before anything else, make sure that you have your ticket and a valid ID on hand. Tickets are available now! You’ll need to decide which ticket you want – it’s $20 just for the dance and $30 for the dance, the award program, and the dessert reception. Tickets are only available to purchase online, so make sure you get your tickets before the night.

Dress Your Best

Enter this evening of enchantment feeling like a million bucks. Wear whatever makes you feel magical. Whether it’s khakis, a cocktail dress, 3-piece suit, or a ball gown, make sure that your attire is comfortable enough for you to dance in.

Plan Your Journey

Make sure you know how you’ll be getting to and from the dance! On the night of the Presidents' Ball, there will be a direct charter bus that will take you from Kirkhof to the DeVos Place downtown. The last bus leaves from Kirkhof at 9:30 p.m. and leaves from the DeVos Place at 1 a.m.

Food, Food, Food!

There will be heavy appetizers and a candy table so you and your friends can throughout the night. There will also be desserts and late-night snacks throughout the night. However, if you anticipate dancing up a bigger appetite, make sure you eat a meal beforehand or have something planned for afterward.

Dance, Relax, Repeat

With all of the magical activities during the program and dance, it’s okay if you feel overwhelmed. There will be quiet spaces upstairs if you need to decompress before returning back to the fun.
