Get ‘em while they’re hot! A fresh batch of seven new student organizations have just been added to the collection of over 400 others. Discover the Forensic Science Club, Athletes in Action, Black. Leaders. Aspiring. For. Critical. Knowledge, and more!
This interfaith organization is for athletes seeking discipleship, accountability, and a Christian community at GVSU. This org meets weekly at the Hosford Football Center to share testimonies between athletes, dissect bible stories, and participate in community service. Athletes in Action is brand new and ready for new members, so check them out!
Black. Leaders. Aspiring. For. Critical. Knowledge (BLACK)
The mission for this cultural organization is to unify young Black people with other cultures and to promote academic excellence. Members of BLACK organize activities and events aimed to deconstruct racial stereotypes, educate, build character, and gain respect. Find this org in Kirkhof at 8 p.m. every Thursday.
Connections Through Conversation
Connections Through Conversation is a special interest organization aimed toward creating conversations and eliminating prejudice through meaningful discussion. If you enjoy social discourse, this org will provide a safe space to talk through these issues productively. Join the conversation on every other Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m. at varied locations.
For students studying forensic science, this organization is for you! The Forensic Science Club is dedicated to educating the forensic science community about the field through investigative activities and providing members with networking opportunities. This org meets every other Monday at 6 p.m.
If you’re a driven female-identifying pre-med student, check out Future Female Physicians! This org helps members build more competitive resumes, have quality discussions of industry issues, and mental health support. You can meet this org every other Wednesday.
A brand new fraternity chapter is here! The Zeta Sigma chapter of Phi Kappa Tau strives for personal improvement, greatness, and sustaining the values of the GVSU Greek community. Get to know your future brothers at 8 p.m. on Sundays.
Urban Dynamic is for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ students interested in all things art. In this organization, members have a safe space to collaborate, discuss artists, have community, explore new art mediums, and much more. Unleash your inner art geek with Urban Dynamic on Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Fridays at 6:30 p.m. in Calder.
