Shake that skeleton at CAB’s Laker-Vania! On Oct. 30 from 2-5 p.m, come to the Grand River Room for a FREE event full of dancing, games, food, and fun. Come dressed in your most fang-tastic attire to participate in the costume contest.
Keep the celebration going at GVSU Homecoming events! The Lip Sync Battle will be happening on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. on the Kirkhof Lawn. After the teams battle it out, the Homecoming Royal will be announced during Pep Rally happening right after at 7 p.m. with food trucks, s'mores and more! On Oct. 28, head to Lubbers Stadium at 3 p.m. for the homecoming football game against Michigan tech.
Looking to take in fall chills instead of thrills? Experience GR has a fall cider guide to nearby cider mills, apple orchards, and farms where you can enjoy the sweet treats of the season.
There will be a live giant pumpkin carving event happening on Oct. 27 at 3 p.m. in downtown Grand Rapids. Hop on the LakerLine to Rosa Parks Circle to see professional pumpkin carvers create masterpieces with massive pumpkins. There will also be free pumpkins and free candy while supplies last.
RecWell is hosting a Monster Mash Zumba Party on Oct. 30 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Celebrate this Halloween-eve by going to this dance party in the Fieldhouse Arena. FREE mocktails and other (trick or) treats will be provided!
Universal Monsters: Triple Creature Feature
The Grand Rapids Community Media Center is hosting a movie night at Wealthy Theater! On Halloween at 7 p.m, they will be playing three classic monster movies back-to-back. With The “Wolf Man,” “Frankenstein,” and “Dracula,” the classic frights will be endless. Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the door.
