September RSO of the Month: Panhellenic Association

This month, we're highlighting all of the amazing organizations within GV's Panhellenic Association! After a successful fall 2023 recruitment process, the Panhellenic Association is working hard to continue making a lasting impact at Grand Valley.

The Panhellenic Association is one of the four councils within Fraternity & Sorority Life at GV. It's currently home to nine different sororities, each with its own unique values and philanthropic focuses. The Panhellenic Association aims to provide guidance and support to its members, promoting their growth and success while upholding the values of the National Panhellenic Conference and the values of Grand Valley.

Students who decide to join a sorority will find service, leadership, personal development, relationship-building opportunities, and so much more.

"Just seeing the actual people we're helping has made a huge impact on how I view community service and philanthropic work," says Claire Spitz, a member of Phi Mu. "...it just makes me want to do it for the rest of my life..."

Maria Modaff, member of Alpha Sigma Tau, is extremely appreciative of the strong community and lasting friendships she has found through her sorority. She says, "You'll make so many memories going greek, and they'll last a lifetime. I love the community so much, and I think everybody should have the opportunity to be a part of it."
